| I have two complete BJ42 diesel drivetrains for sale (c/w frames and tubs if wanted). Would these suit your needs? |

| Would either of you have a 3F Engine? I have a line on a good condition FJ62 with a knocking engine. |

Look for a 2F and swap on the 3F head and EFI. At least I think that's what guys do to hot rod up that beast.
I don't think that there are many 3f trucks around. _________________ Brad T.

no need to be sorry, I know very little about gasser Cruisers myself.
I "believe" that the bottom end on the late model F, 2F, 3f and 3FE are all the same or very similar in design. By using the 3FE head you retain the fuel injection and match it to a much more accessible 2F block.
I read it on IH8MUD somewhere.
Check out this thread over there:

I want a BJ60 with the Diesel, but I found a good deal on a FJ62 with all the options and a good body, so it would make a good swap to a BJ60 Frame and Drivetrain.
Do you know what kind of Fuel Mileage the 6cyl gas Land Cruiser's do? |

very poor..... although the engine will outlast the body and many thousands of miles after that, it is thirsty and you will get 16 mpg at very best..... _________________ as an fj40 owner you’ll be able to identify all of the idiots in the world when they say “Nice Jeep, dude!” to you.... |
